FCT Trust Operations Officer Renee Gorman has announced her plans to retire on July 14th. Renee has been an integral part of the FCT team for many years. She brought decades of experience working in the trust industry. Prior to joining FCT in 2017, Renee worked at other local large financial institutions in the trust department for more than 25 years.
Her post-retirement plans include traveling to visit relatives in Lincoln, Nebraska and Seattle, Washington this summer and fall. “I’m trying to figure out if I have any relatives in other great places to travel! I have done family history research for years, on both my family and my husband’s family, and will be going to northern Iowa as well as Wisconsin to do some more research. Love those old Court House records! I’m hoping to find the great-great’s, if I can. There’s only so much you can get online, but if you go visit in person, there’s a whole lot of other things available that are not online.”
In honor of her retirement, the FCT team members celebrated Renee’s career during their June staff meeting. Please join us in congratulating Renee on her retirement. We wish her well!
